Here’s how to easily change your air filter on an Audi RSQ3 8u or a RS3 pre-facelift at home on your driveway.
Tools needed:
- T20 torx (long reach)
- Ratchet
Step 1: Loosen all x8 torx screws that hold down the top of the air filter housing with a long-reach T20 torx.

Step 2: Lift the top of the air filter housing and pull out your old panel filter and replace with your new one. Note, at this point it may be a good idea to clean out the housing before reinstalling your new panel filter.

Step 3: Once you’ve installed your new filter, do everything else in reserve order – remembering not to overtighten the torx srews.
