Here’s how to easily change your air filter, at home, on your Mazda 6 2.2 Skyactiv diesel.

Step 1: Push down on the 2 metal clips that hold the top half of the lid to the bottom.

Step 2: lift the lid and remove your old air filter and replace it with your new one. You may have leaves and other debris sitting in the bottom half of the box, now would be a good time to hoover/vacuum this all out to make the most of your new filter.

Step 3: Do everything else in reverse order, ensuring you place the air filter lid down evenly, and then clip the metal clips back into place.
