Here’s how to easily locate your OBD port on a VW Golf MK4.

Step 1: Locate the plastic trim between the A/C controls and the sliding tray.

Step 2: On the back of the trim, in the center, you should be able to grip it with your finger and pull down to remove this piece.

Step 3: This will reveal your OBD port. Then, to reassemble simply locate the backside of the trim in place first and then clip the front into place.
