Diesel and electric car drivers now have the luxury of a V8 rumble with the active sound system made by Kufatec. The sound booster system is an electronically produced V8 exhaust sound, pre-recorded and played through a speaker that is caged within a metal shield – along with wiring that connects to your cars sound module in order to work in conjunction with the accelerator pedal.

The setup has several tone settings that work directly from an app. These settings allow the user to easily switch between a quiet or loud rumble. And, even though your car won’t sound as good as an actual V8 at high revs, you will still have the added advantage of a replicated muscle car sounding exhaust system when driving civilly from A to B – as the video below will demonstrate.
